Abstract
Ecliptic Wall has been developed as both an artistic work and as a designed lighting device for research into artificial nature phenomenon, eclipse. Ecliptic Wall embodies sensory experiences and memories allowing for visitors to perceive visual lighting movements and its shadows in an immersive installation focusing on sensual and physical interaction. This work investigates the effects of a moving light, temporarily generated spatial atmosphere and meditative quality of immersive spaces.
