Abstract

The following article provides an in-depth analysis of the utilization of an eclectic approach in foreign language instruction, particularly emphasizing the creation of educational and methodological materials for an advanced training program catered to English teachers, integrating artificial intelligence. This course curriculum is tailored for educators who lack prior experience in utilizing and instructing English to enhance their professional competencies and improve the overall efficacy of the educational process. The article offers valuable insights into the potential benefits and challenges of using AI in language education, shedding light on the evolving nature of language teaching in the digital age. The growing use of artificial intelligence (AI) in education is causing a significant shift in teaching methods, especially in language instruction. The study explores the educational content of an advanced training course designed to equip secondary school teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge to teach English using AI technologies effectively. Thirty-two teachers of schools in Almaty, Kazakhstan, participated in the pilot part of the test of the content of the course and studied according to the developed course for six weeks. The course takes a comprehensive approach, including theoretical principles, practical use of AI tools, and hands-on experience. Focusing on interactive learning, ongoing evaluation, and personalized assistance, the method aims to seamlessly enhance teachers' ability to incorporate AI into their lessons.
