Abstract

AbstractIn the present paper it is tried to call in doubt the authenticity of the fourth stanza of Prudentius’ introductory poem (the ninth and eleventh stanza were deleted by Christian Gnilka). It is argued that after the deletion of these three stanzas the dichotomic structure of the introductory poem will become more transparent.
