Abstract
The Committee for Risk Assessment (RAC) of the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) is proposing that titanium dioxide (TiO2) should be classed as a category 2 carcinogen through inhalation under the European Union's REACH Regulation. The opinion is being sent to the European Commission (EC) for final decision-making on whether to adopt the proposal.
