Abstract

A new study commissioned by the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen 2 Joint Undertaking (FCH2 JU) in consultation with the European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy highlights the opportunities for hydrogen energy technologies in terms of national energy and climate plans. The EC has also published an analysis of costs and key benefits of hydrogen generation in Europe, to help identify investment opportunities in the hydrogen value chain to 2050.
