Abstract

As ebooks make up an ever-larger portion of academic library catalogs, it is becoming increasingly problematic that licensing agreements, digital rights management (DRM), and technical issues make it difficult to share them between libraries. This column examines some of the various models libraries and consortia are using to find ways to share ebooks despite the existing barriers.
