Abstract

The article discusses neurological difficulties, eye problems and other health issues being experienced by survivors of the 2014-2016 Ebola epidemic in Africa. Topics include the risk of post-Ebola syndrome among 17,000 survivors, the finding by epidemiologist Mosoka Fallah and his team that Ebola survivors also suffered headaches, depression and difficulty walking, and the similarity between HIV and Ebola in terms of producing symptoms following treatment.
