Abstract

To clarify the actual early childhood eating habits of children in double-income households having various work styles, this study conducted a questionnaire survey of households that sent their children to a selected nursery school in Yamagata prefecture. Regarding food consciousness, “amount of food left by children, ” “light taste, ” “using ingenuity to overcome dislike food, ” “meals held at the same time, ” “domestic foodstuffs, ” and “prefectural foodstuffs ” were significantly higher in “husband only full-time worker ” households.
