Abstract
The construction and use of sterilizable plastic Leonard jar assemblies is described. The assemblies, which are used for the aseptic growth of plants during the study of Rhizobium or other soil organisms, are made from commercial plastic bottles which are easily cut, able to withstand repeated sterilization, and are unbreakable.
