Abstract
Abstract EASTERN STAINLESS ES-2205 is a very low carbon ferritic-austenetic stainless steel with an excellent combination of strength and corrosion-resistant properties under a wide variety of applications. It has twice the yield strength of the austenitic stainless steel. Both machinability and weldability are good. The uses of ES-2205 include heat exchangers, tubes and other components and equipment that must resist chloride-containing media, inorganic acids and organic acids. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SS-437.
