Abstract

ABSTRACT The earthworm genera Dendrobaena Eisen, 1874 and Bimastos Moore, 1891 in Israel were studied. Twelve taxa were collected, of which three species, B. jordanis, D. nevoi, and D. negevis spp. nov., are newly described. The taxonomic status of D. orientalis, D. semitica, and D. veneta kervillei is clarified.
