Abstract

Lessons gleaned from Earth Art can offer a fresh perspective on how to expedite the adoption of Green Energy. Drawing inspiration from several Earth Artists before focusing on the environmental review process for two Earthwork installations by the artists Christos and Jeanne-Claude, the article suggests that any environmental review process can be enhanced by an elevation of the site-specific inquiry through early engagement with local stakeholders, a reimagining of land by local governments, and a search for efficiencies and creative partnerships outside of the governmental review process.
