Abstract

Interest in upfront thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) for acute uncomplicated type B aortic dissection (uTBAD) has grown despite few supporting multicenter randomized data in the U.S. population. We sought to compare cardiovascular outcomes after a strategy of upfront TEVAR vs upfront medical therapy in patients with uTBAD.
