Early repair and remodeling of acute lung injury

Abstract

Acute lung injury(ALI)/aeute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS) are the diffuse injuries of alveolar-capillary membrane caused by many pulmonary or extrapulmonary factors, then resulting in the disturbance of air exchange. It has recently become apparent that the process of repair and remodeling begins in the early course of ALI/ARDS, and affects the inflammation process of ALL Investigating the mechanism of cells,eytokines and their affection in ALI/ARDS will be important for farther research in the early processes of ALI/ARDS,and finding early and effective treatment for ARDS.
