Abstract

In July, 1965, the Ohio General Assembly enacted a statute providing a means for the early release of incarcerated felons from a correctional institution.3 The statute permitted * Revision of a paper presented at the Southern Sociological Society Annual Meeting, Atlanta, Georgia, April, 1973.
