Abstract

Objective To study the severe application of pancreatitis in the early enteral nutritional care in improving the nutritional status and prognosis. Methods A total of 82 patients with severe pancreatitis from June 2011 to June 2014 in the hospital were selected and divided into experimental and control groups, 41 patients in each group. Results Flatus, defecation time and recovery time of bowel sounds of patients in two groups before and after treatment were significantly different(P 0.05), after treatment, albumin content of the patients in the observation group was slightly increased, while in the control group was reduced, the difference was statistically significant(t= 11.917 3, P= 0.000), weight loss in observation group was less and was more in control group, there was significant difference between the two groups(P 0.05), but there were significant differences in Ranson score and APACHEⅡscore between before and after treatment in two groups. Conclusions Early enteral nutritional care could ensure the nutritional needs of the patient, effectively alleviate the long-term high metabolic stress of pancreas, reduce the probability of infection and complications, shorter hospital stay of patients, help patients recover as quickly as possible, safe and reliable without harm, which is widely used clinical practice. Key words: Early enteral nutrition; Severe pancreatitis; Prognosis
