Early diagnosis and treatment of type 2 diabetes complicated with ischemic cerebrovascular disease

Abstract

Objective To analyze the early diagnosis and treatment of type 2 diabetes complicated with cerebrovascular disease.Methods From January 2010 to December 2011,60 cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus with ischemic cerebrovascular disease were treated as experimental group,at the same time,60 healthy persons were selected as control group,they all had the transcranial doppler examination,and the indicators of cerebral artery between the two groups were compared,the experimental group patients underwent transcranial doppler after the drug treatment,and the result was contrasted with the that of admission.Results There were significant differences in the anterior cerebral artery,middle cerebral artery,posterior cerebral artery,basilar artery,vertebral artery peak systolic velocity,the average blood flow velocity,the pulse index between the two groups at admission (P ＜ 0.05),cerebrovascular situation in experiment group was significantly worse than that in the control group at admission,the head Doppler examination results was significantly better than that at the time of admission,there were significant differences (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions The important value in the transcranial Doppler has important value on early diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with ischemic cerebrovascular disease,active early treatment can improve the prognosis of the disease.
