Abstract

Collaborative care improves outcomes and access to care for young children. By providing services to families in different venues outside of traditional mental health clinics, clinicians can more flexibly access ports of entry with challenged families and can open up opportunities to provide dyadic and family care. In this Clinical Perspectives, participants will: 1) deepen their understanding of how to support infants, preschoolers, and their families in a variety of nontraditional settings; and 2) learn strategies in supporting diverse and underserved families with young children through case examples and discussion.
