Abstract
ABSTRACT We present CCD observations of comet Halley made on 1985 February 16 when the comet was at a distance of 4.90 AU from the sun. The comet was beginning to show a diffuse image, with approximately half the light in the diffuse component which extended to 6 arc sec on the sun-facing side of the nucleus.
