Abstract

The library of the Royal Geographical Society contains a great many early charts and works on navigation which will be of interest to members of the Institute. Mr. Crone, the Society's Librarian and Map Curator, describes some of them in this paper, which deals in the main with publications likely to have been used or referred to by practising navigators. Arrangements can be made for members to inspect works in the Society's collection.
