Abstract
This paper describes the heat exchange performance of a ground source heat pump (GSHP) that uses a direct expansion method in a heating mode. The GSHP operated from January 19, 2015 to February 19, 2015. The refrigerant of the GSHP is R410A. The GSHP system has a vertical underground heat exchanger inserted into a borehole of 30m depth. The underground heat exchanger consisted of five copper tubes and single copper tube. The set value of the room temperature is 20℃. As an experimental result, coefficient of performance changed from 3 to 7 in the heating mode. The average value of COP was 4.6 during a month.
