Abstract
In the title compound, C21H19N3O6S, the vanillin group makes dihedral angles of 56.00 (7)° and 7.22 (8)° with the 4-methylbenzene ring and the nitrophenylhydrazine ring, respectively. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and weak, non-classical intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds that link adjacent molecules into one-dimensional extended chains.
