Abstract
The half-lives of the 227 keV state in 155Tb and of the 326 keV state in 157Tb are determined to t 1 2 = 0.32 ± ± 0.05 ns and t 1 2 = 0.41 ± 0.09 ns , respectively. Their transition matrix elements are compared with corresponding 5 2 − → 3 2 + transitions in their neighbouring odd proton nuclei.
