Abstract

The growth rate of e-government entry point of Taiwan (http://www.gov.tw) has been analyzed in an attempt to explore factors related to the e-government evolution. Two objects are to be achieved in this article. First, a continuous curve is drawn to assist the explanation of e-government evolution and its growth. Second, users' behavior is described in accordance with the observations made to the users' visits to e-government website. The results should be able to provide decision makers an effective direction when making e-government policy objects and marketing strategies. Further, results of analysis should also enrich the e-government literature, in the fields of e-government promotion, maintaining, and evolution.
