Abstract
Abstract The electronic-to-vibrational energy transfer (e-v transfer) between the F center and CN−-molecule in CsCl(CN−) and KCl(CN−) is discussed in terms of nonradiative transitions between the electronic excited and ground states of the system. The role of dipole-dipole coupling between the F center and CN- molecule in the e-v transfer is also considered.
