Abstract
The bottleneck effect arising in the electron paramagnetic resonance of Gd in GdBe 13 and Gd xCe -xBe 13 with x ≳ 0.001 is removed by additions of CeBe 13 which displays a high electron lattice relaxation rate, tentatively attributed to an interconfiguration fluctuation of the 4f electron of Ce.
