Abstract

Various personal services in business play important roles in the success of current marketing field. Since 1980s, the boom in informational technology had an impact on the business world when the Internet began to penetrate the lives of millions of users. Electronic commerce (e-commerce) is a process of buying and selling products, services and information using computer networks and the internet. Thus, e-commerce has found its place and applicability inside the global economy. Through summarising and analysing personalised recommendation research, this paper presents an overview of personalised recommendation technique and proposes future research topics. The purpose of this article is to highlight some of the characteristics of e-commerce and the global implementation stage. It identifies possible development trends for the future.
