Abstract
The development of information and communication technologies in recent years has had a huge impact on the interaction between companies and customers. Internet technologies and mobile communication are becoming increasingly important. This development brought about such concepts as e-commerce and, more broadly, e-business. The aim of the article is to show the impact of the development of communications infrastructure, in particular the availability and bandwidth of the Internet, on the development of e-commerce.
