Abstract

The superpotential for N = 1 supergravity in four dimensions with E 6 gauge group and an arbitrary number of 27 and 27 matter multiplets is given, through sixth order, in terms of the fundamental tensor invariants of E 6. The generic (i.e. model-independent) form of the superpotential when the four-dimensional gauge group G is a regular subgroup of E 6 can be obtained by straightforward tensor reduction techniques.
