Abstract
Obesity is associated with difficult management of vascular access and airway and postoperative complications in general surgery. Transcatheter mitral valve repair(TMVr) can be a good substitute for surgical mitral valve repair(SMVr) especially in these patients. We sought to evaluate the national in-hospital outcomes of patients with obesity undergoing TMVr or SMVr.
