Abstract

New-generation drug-eluting stents (DES) are superior to earlier-generation DES in terms of efficacy and safety — this may be attributable to the ultrathin metallic backbone. T-Flex registry sought to assess clinical outcomes of ultrathin (60 μm) biodegradable polymer-coated sirolimus-eluting stents (SES) designed with a unique long dual Z (LDZ) link on a cobalt-chromium platform (Sahajanand Medical Technologies Ltd., Surat, India) in a real-world population with high-risk subgroups at 3-year follow-up.
