Abstract

Fibrous dysplasia of the bone (FDB) is a benign congenital but non-hereditary bone disorder in which normal bone is replaced by pseudofibrous tissue containing an immature osteogenesis. It is frequently fortuitously discovered during a radiological or nuclear medicine scan.
