Abstract

Background: Dysmenorrhea is one of the most common and important, health problems, especially among young girls, it results in the absence in school and work. It has some negative effects on the daily activities of the patients. Aim: to assess the prevalence of Dysmenorrhea, factors associated with it, methods of management and educational knowledge among secondary school students in Basra, we have in this research the demographic information like the age and presence of the student in an education of environment, then we description of the men strual period, then description of the symptoms of dysmenorrheal, also we have some procedures used to manage pain and description of dysmenorrhea and characteristics of pain we also we need know the level of knowledge of female studentints about dysmenorrhea, in the end we made descriptive statistics about the study
