Abstract
Cet article a pour objectif d’analyser les mécanismes selon lesquels une grande Infrastructure de Recherche, ici un synchrotron, co-construit l’écosystème dans lequel elle s’insère et l’utilise pour soutenir et nourrir sa dynamique d’innovation. Notre analyse se fonde sur l’étude du synchrotron français SOLEIL. Nous postulons qu’il est possible d’analyser le modèle d’affaires d’une telle infrastructure, et surtout de comprendre les mécanismes de son évolution. Si celle-ci résulte de processus de résolution de tensions repérables au niveau microéconomique, les mécanismes à l’œuvre mettent en jeu des dynamiques de coopération et de compétition opérant par l’intermédiaire des différentes communautés au sein d’un écosystème de synchrotrons.
