Abstract

Dynamics of spiral tip rotating in a closed system of the lightsensitive Belousov–Zhabotinsky reaction is studied under a homogeneousand steady illumination. The time dependence of the kinematicalparameters of meandering spiral is presented and the experimentalevidence is obtained for self-synchronization of the spiral tip in aclosed B-Z system without external feedback.
