Abstract
It was monitored the daily dynamics of components in the natural essential oil of Rosa damascena Mill. flowers using static headspace solid phase microextraction technique (sHS-SPME). 37 compounds were identified. It was established that the headspace model was a combination of terpene alcohols: geraniol (0.57 - 32.33 %), citronellol (1.18 - 30.93 %), nerol (0.39 - 8.58 %), menthone (1.46 - 20.20 %) and phenylethyl alcohol (1.32 - 13.36 %), whose presence was highly dependent on day moment and abiotic factors (air temperature, relative humidity, intensity of sunlight and wind) at the relevant time.
