Abstract
In the present work, an approximate solution of the problem regarding establishment of magnetic flux in the cross section of a metallic ferromagnetic finite-length rod during stepwise variation of a spatially-homogeneous magnetizing field over time are reported. Calculations by general formulas are compared with experimental data obtained for cylindrical rods.
