Abstract

A scaling hypothesis of the local spin and charge dynamic susceptibility is proposed for two-dimensional antiferromagnetically correlated quantum systems, which interpolate between the antiferromagnetic insulator limit and the nearly antiferromagnetic metal limit. The characteristic energy is calculated self-consistently by the sum rule. The quantum-critical behavior in the vicinity of a zero-temperature phase transition is responsible for the anomalies of high-T c cuprates.
