Abstract
AbstractThe expression has been derived for the rate of intramolecular part of the relaxation induced by the motion of nuclei transferred between the two sites of unequal energy and by isotropic reorientation of nuclear pairs. This expression should be useful in analizing T1 data for hydrogen bonded liquids. — The relaxation time T1 of protons in H2O—D2O mixtures has been measured and analysed on the basis of the presented theory.
