Abstract

The dynamics of phase separation in two-dimensional binary systems containing surfactants is investigated by means of a time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau model. The authors study the Langevin dynamics of two scalar fields representing the local order parameter and the local surfactant concentration. In the intermediate time regime, domain growth is characterized by anomalously slow dynamics. Dynamic scaling of the pair-correlation function and structure factor are observed.
