Abstract

The influence of the anthropogenic factor on the dynamics of the number of harmful turtle in agroecological systems of the Volga region is studied. With the change in the structure of wheat sown areas (the main forage crop of a harmful turtle) and the decrease in the use of insecticides, the phytophagous conditions have changed. In modern conditions, the pest population experiences a constant depressive effect of biotic (diet, entomophages, pathogenic microorganisms) in combination with abiotic (unfavorable weather conditions during the wintering period or during the active period) factors. The total number of the population of the harmful turtle has significantly decreased and its reproduction is of a focal character. To increase the pressure on the pest population, you should use techniques to accelerate harvesting with subsequent stubbling. In order to preserve the quality of grain, use insecticides in wheat agrocenosis on the basis of differentiated economic thresholds of damage.
