Abstract
An investigation was made of the time dependence of light-induced separation of a mixture of isotopic modifications of 13CH3F–12CH3F molecules formed as a result of vibrational excitation of CH3F molecules by CO2 laser radiation. Measurements were made in a wide range of gas pressures. The experimental results are compared with the theory of the effect.
