Abstract

Experiments on helical pipe-rolling mills provide information regarding the functioning of the drive line. Means of addressing the dynamic behavior of the primary drive and the nonuniform roller motion are proposed. Rational hinge parameters in the universal drive spindles permit minimum amplitude of the working-roller vibration.
