Abstract

The purpose of the article. Based on an analysis of historical and cultural traditions of artssynthesis vision, the paper is aimed at restoring the concept of poezomalyarstvo (artistic poetry)reasoned in theoretical works of Mihal’ Semenko, the founder of Ukrainian futurism. Themethodology of the research arises from the specific nature of the article issue and is grounded onthe historical and chronological method which makes possible to include poezomalyarstvo (artisticpoetry) into dynamics of arts synthesis problem formation. The biographical method, as well as thecomparative method, is also used. The scientific novelty of the paper lies in broad representation ofM. Semenko’s article «Poezomalyarstvo» (1922) which was written in the times when ideas of OSkryabin, V. Kandinsky, M. Chyurlyonis were the subject of discussion and comprehensivetheoretical analysis as well as introduction the experience of Ukrainian creators like L. Kurbas, B.Lyatoshynsky, P. Tychyna and others concerning phenomenon of arts synthesis into wide scientificuse. Conclusions. 1. the importance of historical and cultural reconstruction of arts synthesisformation and development is shown; 2. the Ukrainian experience of synthesis potential study ispresented; 3. the role of personalization in restoring historical and cultural stages of humanisticdevelopment is proved.Key words: synthesis, creative and searching potential of synthesis, poezomalyarstvo(artistic poetry), futurism, color irritants.
