Abstract

We investigate the influence of a local bridge on a social network of 25 coupled chaotic circuits. From synchronization phenomena of coupled chaotic circuits, we show that coupled chaotic circuits connected at both ends of a local bridge easily break down. Through computer simulations, the network is predicted to switch between global synchronization and partial synchronization. To analyze synchronization behavior, we define the asynchronous probability for a given time interval. Moreover, we demonstrate in experiments using real physical circuits the same synchronization behavior.
