Abstract

Taking into account the effects of Stark shift and Kerr medium, the dynamics of a two-level atom interacting with a quantized cavity field and the evolution of the cavity field entropy are investigated in this paper, the comparison between both systems of Stark shift and Kerr medium is given. The results show that, the effects of Stark shift and Kerr medium change the quasiperiod of the atomic inversion and the field entropy evolution.
