Abstract
The reliability, service life, and economy of operation of gas pumping units (GPU) [1] in the systems of gas mains and distribution gas pipelines are a function of the properties of the turbine oil to a significant degree. Aggressive contaminants enter from the pumped gas: moisture, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, particulate contaminants. Standard Tp-22s turbine oil does not contain any additives that prevent the negative effect of these contaminants on operation of sliding bearings, reduction pairs, toothed clutches, and other mechanisms.
