Abstract

As the progress of wireless communication technology, utilization of smartphones has been an inherent part in our daily life. Notwithstanding, with the dramatic increase of the utilization of smartphones, smartphones viruses are also emerging in an eternal stream. To explore dynamics of smartphone virus propagation, a delayed SVEIQRS mathematical model is proposed in this study. Local stability and exhibition of Hopf bifurcation are analyzed on the basis of eigenvalue method. Direction and stability of the Hopf bifurcation are derived with the aid of normal form theory and center manifold theorem. Finally, numerical analysis is conducted in order to validate our theoretical findings.
