Abstract

The research focuses on the characteristics of the dynamics in the spheres of student's individuality during the pandemic COVID-19. Fifty-nine future Primary school teachers of the first-year studying have taken part in this research. The first group consists of students, who study in the conditions of real interaction with lecturers and other students before the pandemic of 2019. The second group takes part in the research in 2020: students have finished Secondary school in distance format of studying. This group has been taking part in the mixed education (combining virtual and face-to-face education) for one term at the university. The respondents were asked to complete "Questionnaire of student's individuality" for measuring their individuality spheres: intellectual, motivational, emotional, volitional, practical and subject-oriented, existential and self-regulative one. The participants were analyzing the components of all seven spheres of the individuality at the beginning of the first term (in September) and at the end of it (in late December) during their university studying. The research results show the mixed format of traditional and distance learning in the pandemic has influenced on the dynamics of all spheres of students' individuality. The dynamics in the existential sphere at the university is defined by the awareness of internal world, in the volitional sphere - the skill to overcome external and internal difficulties, in the self-regulative sphere - physical self-monitoring skills and cognitive analysis. In the process of mixed education the emotional, motivational, intellectual, practical and subject-oriented spheres are actively transformed. The dynamics of some components of these spheres demonstrates the indeterminacy. Changes in the emotional sphere are identifies with the skills to overcome the anxiety, but only this component doesn't demonstrate positive dynamics. In the motivational sphere forced isolation reduces a demand for a cooperation, the possibility of free access to many informative resources reduces a need in the knowledge of different disciplines. The demand for the self-development determines the main dynamics of this sphere. In the intellectual sphere individual characteristics of the cognitive activity are fundamental, but long-term interaction with the informative channel influences on the stability of the awareness. The value of the creative skills in the practical and subject-oriented spheres is increasing, but the distance learning impacts negatively on student's workability.
