Abstract
This article is a summary (Introduction Chapter) of my PHD Thesis at Tilburg University (Tilburg, Netherlands) and the thesis consisted of articles that I had written (and some were published) before I was admitted into the PHD degree program in 2013. The article: i) explains the relationships among the PHD Thesis chapters; ii) defines and summarizes the research methods used and introduces new research methods that I developed; iii) explains key elements of Behavioral Operations Research in markets and Complex Adaptive Systems. My PHD thesis introduces new Dynamical Systems models/theories and explains why the Mean Variance Framework (which is widely used in Operations Research, social sciences and natural sciences) is invalid.
